Growing up in India, a land of diverse ecosystems and rich biodiversity, I witnessed the delicate balance between human development and nature. Stories of forest fires in the Western Ghats and the Himalayan regions, coupled with the visible impact of deforestation, deeply moved me. My cultural upbringing, which emphasizes living in harmony with nature, instilled in me a profound respect for the environment.
